Having 2 volume controls (one for normal and one bright) gives you the ability to blend an infinite amount of tone out of your guitar. Below is a sound bite of the 40w British Invasion being used both for a bit of rhythm and a bit of lead. Our friend Ian Stone (Bootleg Floyd) very kindly demoed on the clip showing what he can do with just volume controls on his guitar and volume controls on the British Invasion. Absolutely no pedals or recording effects were used so that you can get the real raw sound of the amp. Recorded using a Behringer B906 Condenser mic and a Sure SM57, Scarlett 2i2 interface and Garage band.
