Rebel - 5w
Clean, gorgeous pure valve tone in a manageable size for home and studio use. The Rebel is based very loosely on the Fender champ. the ‘Rebel’ uses a single 6V6 output valve to give you pure ‘guitar + valve’ tone. The single tone and single volume control gives you the minimal loss of guitar signal.
It actually punches well above the 5w it’s rated at so enabling you to use it in the studio, small rehearsals and at home
A single ECC83 (12AX7) provides all the signal conditioning that you need then the 6V6 provides you with either the clean ringing tones or drive that only a valve can deliver.
Believe it or not, his amp will improve your playing...! - or at least it will encourage you to play better. The sound you get out of the 10” Jenson Alnico speaker will be just you, your guitar and a couple of valves. Lets be honest, what more do you want? There is no hiding behind fake distortion, sustain, reverb or a 'make yourself sound cool' pedal- it is really is down to how well you can control your guitar.
Hi and Low inputs give the flexibility to use different pick ups and vary the amount of drive you want.
All hand wired quality components - easily accessible and easy to maintain. Housed in a dovetailed pine cabinet, finished with a medium oak stain and wax. All of our pine is reclaimed with all it’s knots and grain visible so making your amp completely unique.

Below is a sound bite of the 5w Rebel being used both for a bit of rhythm and a bit of lead. Our friend Ian Stone (from Bootleg Floyd) very kindly demoed on the clip showing what he can do with just volume controls on his guitar and volume controls on the Rebel. Absolutely no pedals or recording effects were used so that you can get the real raw sound of the amp. Recorded using a Behringer B906 Condenser mic and a Sure SM57, Scarlett 2i2 interface and Garage band.
